Line updates & cancellations

Early this morning, I checked the odds on 5dimes for Porter over Brook, and found that they had moved to (-210), from (-280) or so.  After looking around for injury news, &/or anything else that would explain this big of a line move, I guessed that British money had moved the line, since they are up before us, and since 5dimes is a European site.  My guess seemed a bit more reasonable, given that the bovada line was still at (-270) or (-280).

Meanwhile, Sara McMann over Lauren Murphy had moved from (-300) to (-320).  My intent had been to bet some more on McMann, since I consider her my strongest play this weekend, but decided to parlay her with Porter, given that his cheaper price more than made up for her move in the other direction--Porter(-210)/McMann(-320) pays about (-120).  

Currently Porter's odds have stabilized to (-225) on 5dimes, and (-250) on bovada.  McMann's odds continue to climb, at (-325) on bovada, and (-335) on 5dimes, so you won't get the price I got, at least not right now.

While I think I was correct that British $$ moved the Porter line, I don't know why the move happened when it did, or why it was so big and swift.

Speaking of swift, 5dimes has already paid me back the $$ I had on Jones-Cormier, giving me about twice as much that isn't in play...yet.  To be fair, in this case bovada would have as well, since the fight is rescheduled for a date in 2015, unlike Fury-Chisora, which is rescheduled for 22Nov.

Odds are beginning to post for that fight, but it looks like they haven't moved much from where they were. So I won't be getting any value from bovada holding my $$...(really thought Fury would be closer to 1/3 on the new date) I will probably load up on Fury again, but my suspicion is this fight will get postponed again to 2015.
